Parent coaching is not therapy or medical treatment. It is a supportive, educational, and reflective space to help you navigate parenting in a PDA, ADHD, and autistic context. Coaching is designed to provide strategies, frameworks, and emotional support—not diagnosis or clinical intervention.

All coaching conversations remain confidential unless there is a legal obligation to report risk of harm.

Coaching is collaborative: parents are responsible for deciding how to use and implement the tools shared.
Outcomes will vary—every child and family is different.
I cannot “fix” your child (because they are not broken). The goal is to build connection, safety, and sustainable parenting approaches.

Payment is due in full before program commencement unless payment plan is arranged
NDIS invoices can be supplied for plan managed and self managed plans. PLEASE NOTE: for plan managed, the quoted price is above NDIS set pricing so there will be a small out of pocket expense. This will be made clear before a booking is finalised.

Our Privacy Policy describes how your personal (including sensitive) or health information is collected, used, and shared when you visit our site (www.anchorandbloomcoaching.com), make a purchase from us, or contact us via phone, email and other methods.
For your comfort, where practical and legally allowed, you have the option of providing information to us and dealing with us anonymously or by using a pseudonym. This may limit the services we can provide to you.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APP), and the Health Records Act 2001 (Victoria) and the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Victoria).

Definitions
Personal information
Personal information includes a broad range of information, or an opinion, that could identify an individual. What is personal information will vary, depending on whether a person can be identified or is reasonably identifiable in the circumstances.
Examples of personal information can include:
a. an individual’s name, signature, address, phone number or date of birth
b. sensitive information
c. internet protocol (IP) addresses; and
d. location information from a mobile device (because it can reveal user activity patterns and habits).
Sensitive Information
Sensitive information is personal information that includes information or an opinion about a person’s:
a. racial or ethnic origin
b. political opinions or associations
c. religious or philosophical beliefs
d. trade union membership or associations
e. sexual orientation or practices
f. criminal record
g. health or genetic information
h. some aspects of biometric information.
Health Information
The Health Records Act defines health information as*:
* information or an opinion about:
* the physical, mental or psychological health (at any time) of an individual; or
* a disability (at any time) of an individual; or
* an individual's expressed wishes about the future provision of health services to him or her; or
* a health service provided, or to be provided, to an individual
that is also personal information (see definition of personal information under the Health Records Act 2001 below);
or
* other personal information collected to provide, or in providing, a health service; or
* other personal information about an individual collected in connection with the donation, or intended donation, by the individual of his or her body parts, organs or body substances; or
* other personal information that is genetic information about an individual in a form which is or could be predictive of the health (at any time) of the individual or of any of his or her descendants.
* The definition does not include health information, or a class of health information or health information contained in a class of documents, that is prescribed as exempt health information for the purposes of the Health Records Act generally or for the purposes of specified provisions of that Act.
Personal information is defined in the Health Records Act as:
Information or an opinion (including information or an opinion forming part of a database), whether true or not, whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual whose identity is apparent, or can reasonably be ascertained, from the information or opinion, but does not include information about an individual who has been dead for more than 30 years.
Collection and use of your information
The information we collect may be shared with government agencies or other service providers – engaged by you or us - only when permitted by you, to enable us to deliver our services, in compliance with the rights and privacy principles from the Health Records Act 2001 (Victoria) and the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Victoria), and the Australian Privacy Principles (APP).
We may collect personal and health information necessary to the business activities you have engaged us for, or to be able to answer your questions.
When collecting information directly from you and when collecting information from someone else about you, we will make sure we take reasonable steps to ensure you are aware of:
a. why the information is being collected (including the reasons for the collection, and any relevant laws that may require the collection)
b. who it may be disclosed to, the main consequences if you do not disclose the information (if collecting information directly from you); and
c. how you may contact the us and gain access to the information collected.
We typically collect information in the following ways:
a. directly from the you, the person to which the information relates
b. where it is not reasonable or practicable to collect the information directly from you, information may be collected from a third party, such as your authorised representative, or NDIS Nominee
c. where information may be provided by a third party, with your permission.
We may also collect sensitive information where:
a. you have consented to the collection,
b. the collection is required or authorised under law.
The types of personal, health or sensitive information we collect depends on the nature of your contact with us and services we provide you, where relevant. We have ongoing practices, procedures and systems in place to ensure that we personal, health or sensitive information in an open and transparent way.
Personal Information
Personal information collected by us may include, but is not limited to:
a. name, address and contact details
b. personal circumstances (age, gender and / or gender identity, sexuality and religion)
c. financial details (payment details)
d. identity (date of birth and nationality)
e. government identifiers, such as your NDIS Reference
f. Your marketing preferences, such as whether you’d like to receive certain information from us
g. Online information: e.g., information about your visits to our website;
h. Events information, such as information about your interest in and attendance at our events, including provision of feedback forms;
i. Social media information, such as interactions (e.g., likes and posts) with our social media presence; and
j. Mobile devices: we may collect your unique device identifier and mobile device IP address as well as information about your device operating system, mobile carrier and your location
What we do with the information collected
We use and disclose personal (including sensitive) and health information for:
a. the primary purpose you have provided it to us for; or
b. a secondary purpose where the law requires us to use or disclose it.
We may use or disclose personal, health or sensitive information when:
a. the secondary purpose relates to the primary purpose of collection (or directly relates to the primary purpose in the case of sensitive or heath information) and you would reasonably expect us to use or disclose it in this way
b. you have given us consent for its use or disclosure; and / or
c. we are required, authorised or permitted by or under law to use or disclose the information.
We have security measures designed to protect personal, health or sensitive information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that any personal, health or sensitive information we collect, use and share is accurate, complete and up to date, and relevant to the purpose for which it is to be used, that it is relevant to the functions
and activities you have engaged us for.

HCC resolves complaints about healthcare and the handling of health information in Victoria, and it can also investigate matters and review complaints data.
Protecting information transferred outside of Victoria
We adhere to the requirements of the Privacy and Data Protection Act and the Health Records Act when transferring personal and health information outside of Victoria.
The only circumstances in personal, health or sensitive information may be transferred or stored outside of Victoria is when the transfer or storage meets one (or more) of the following criteria:
a. we reasonably believe that the recipient of the information is subject to a law, binding scheme or binding contract that provides substantially similar protection to the Privacy and Data Protection Act or Health Records Act
b. you have provided consent to the transfer
c. the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract between you and us, or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken in response to your request
d. the transfer is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract concluded in the interest of your between us and a third party
e. the transfer is for the benefit of you, and it is impracticable to obtain your consent to the transfer, but if it were practicable to obtain consent you would be likely to give it
f. We have taken reasonable steps to ensure that information which it has transferred will not be held, used or disclosed by recipients inconsistently with the Information Privacy Principles or Health Privacy Principles
g. in the case of health information, the transfer is required or authorised by law.

By booking any service, attending any session, or using any materials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
